Independent Resources for Oil Service Co. (IROS) is an Iraqi owned company, with

offices in Baghdad and Basra. Established in 2003, we cater to the development of the Iraqi

Oil and Gas, Infrastructure sectors. IROS is the sister company to Metco Group, based in the UAE – with 50+ years leading in Energy and Construction.

We specialize in supporting international companies targeting the Iraqi market. IROS provides local and liaison support in dealing with local authorities and government departments. 

IROS provides support with logistics, and arranges for engineers, skilled manpower, material and equipment needed for project implementation while adhering to the highest standards of Safety, Reliability and Quality.  

IROS works closely with international companies such as Intertek International, a leading 3rd party inspection services company. IROS also offer its facilities in Basrah for the training of engineers. MAERSK is one of the companies that offers training for Oil and Gas companies engineers at the IROS Basrah facility.
